About Donna

As a mother, wife, and business owner, I know just how difficult it can be to achieve a healthy lifestyle for you and your family. But I am living proof! Not only have I been fully plant-based for over 10 years, but my family members have willingly joined me in a mostly (my husband still loves the occasional burger!) plant-based diet. 

I still enjoy everything I eat, and you know what? I feel better now than I did at 25. My energy levels are through the roof! I have more than enough energy to carry me through my busy days as a health coach, wife, mother and founder of Empower Fitness. 


The real reason I do what I do is because “I want to live a long, HEALTHY and happy life with my husband and children.” 

With a family history of high blood pressure, heart disease, Alzheimer’s and cancer I told myself I would have to make some dramatic lifestyle changes “when I got older”. Lucky for me I experienced some health issues in my 30’s which showed me I needed to make these lifestyle changes sooner than later. 

This experience inspired me to join the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and become a certified health coach so I would be able to properly share this knowledge with others. Then I received my 2nd certification from WellCoaches a few years later. 

As anyone that knows me would tell you, I am a passionate role model that walks the walk and talks the talk. My life’s mission is to teach others how making simple healthy lifestyle choices throughout their lives will dramatically transform their body and health while still being able to enjoy everything that life has to offer.
